Company: We are primarily involved in the reconditioning of plastic composite intermediate bulk containers (“IBCs”) for resale to chemical, paint, and petroleum manufacturers, blenders, and distributors in North America. In addition to plastic IBC reconditioning, we also provide tanker truck and ISO container washing services and steel IBC rental and cleaning/maintenance services. Headquartered in the Midwest, we also have operations on the West Coast and the Southeast and are pursuing further expansion to build a solid footprint in all major markets in the United States. We are excited about our substantial organic and acquisition growth opportunities and are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to further augment and strengthen the management team. This Sales Manager would be based in our Cleveland facility, but should be willing to travel throughout the United States as necessary to maintain and cultivate new relationships with IBC sources and customers.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications: Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for cultivating new sources of used, reconditionable IBCs and gaining new, profitable customer business in IBC sales. He/she will also be expected to help develop an enhanced, multi-faceted sales and marketing stategy—one that not only leverages company personnel, but one that is more scalable and creative in leveraging third-parties where advantageous and creating incentive structures that drive IBC sources and customers to do business with the company.
We seek an outstanding Sales Manager with a highly energetic, aggressive, and self-starting work ethic. This is key to driving meaningful sales growth and helping the company solidify and expand its position as a leader in the industry. The ideal candidate should have experience implementing and leading advanced sales and marketing strategies and personnel, including the development of tools and metrics used to drive and monitor sales performance. Notably, this individual will be directly involved in sourcing and selling, not just managing other personnel. Solid relationships throughout the chemicals industry and experience in IBCs are a plus.
Compensation: The successful candidate will receive an attractive base salary and incentive compensation commensurate with his or her experience level, personal performance at the company, and overall company performance.
