The year 2011 has been designated the International Year of Chemistry by IUPAC and the United Nations. As a means of celebrating this event, the Division of Organic Chemistry of the American Chemical Society is organizing a one-day symposium to be held at the National American Chemical Society Meeting in Anaheim (March 27-31, 2011) entitled "A Celebration of International Organic Chemistry."
