Nominations for OL, JOC and OM Publication of the Year 2021: Awards-Due Jan 23

Nominations are now open for the ACS Publication Awards (Organic Letters, The Journal of Organic Chemistry and Organometallics) for manuscripts published in 2021 (2020 & 2021 for Organometallics). The deadline for nominations is January 23, 2022. Below, you can find details on eligibility and directions for submission of nominations. The corresponding or lead author(s) will present at ACS Fall 2022 Meeting in Chicago.

The Journal of Organic Chemistry:

Nominations are now open for The Journal of Organic Chemistry Outstanding Publication of the Year Award Lectureship. This will be awarded to the research team behind an outstanding article published in an issue of JOC in 2021 that demonstrates creativity and impact in the field of organic chemistry, broadly based. Special consideration will be given to early-career researchers as well as to the originality and impact of the article. The award includes a plaque, honorarium, and expenses for the recipient to attend the Fall ACS National Meeting.

Organic Letters:

Nominations are now open for the annual Organic Letters Outstanding Publication of the Year Award Lectureship, sponsored by Organic Letters and the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry. This award recognizes the author of an exceptional article published in Organic Letters in 2019 that broadly demonstrates creativity and impact in the field of organic chemistry. The award includes a plaque, honorarium, and expenses for the recipient to attend the Fall ACS National Meeting.

Organometallics:

Nominations are now open for the annual Organometallics Distinguished Author Award, sponsored by Organometallics, the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry, and the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry. This award recognizes the author of exceptional articles published in Organometallics in 2019 that emphasize the importance of organometallic chemistry and have a profound impact on organic and inorganic chemistry as a whole. The award includes a plaque, honorarium, and expenses for the recipient to attend the Fall ACS National Meeting.
